Platform Collage Walking away from Templemeads stationThis painting, a view on a train platform is as if one is waving good bye to a passenger starting out on their journey. The work emerged from a sketch I made whilst waiting for a train to get home. It had been a particularly tough day as I remember. I guess I was sort day dreaming as I people watched at the station. I used the sketch at home to make a small mixed collage to establish the composition for a painting. I have put an image of the collage
